OneImaging toured and spoke with dozens of facilities South of Orlando for weeks to compile a list that removes decision fatigue for you, and makes life much easier.

1. Women’s Health Center – Akumin (Aventura)

The location is situated just off a major highway exit, making it easy to access from various parts of the greater Miami-Fort Lauderdale metropolitan community.

This facility offers mammography, bone density, ultrasound, and will soon be offering biopsies as well. One thing that really sets this facility apart is the on-premise results for diagnostics, and friendly staff. Putting ourselves in the shoes of a patient, removing that post-examination anxiety waiting for your results is unparalleled from other facilities. The equipment is all state-of-the-art technology, and handled only by experienced radiologic technologists. Beyond everything mentioned already, the facility offers beverages, snacks, parking, and provides discs with your images upon request.

2. Unique Imaging – Miami (Design District or Aventura)

Unique Imaging is another boutique experience for patients, especially those seeking an MRI. This facility is a smaller-owned operation by South Florida locals, providing more attention to customer service and detail. The staff is beyond friendly, and their experience is top-notch, coming from prestigious technological and academic backgrounds. This facility features a state-of-the-art 3 tesla MRI machine, optimized for various capabilities. However, if you are in need of incredible joint or neurological (brain) imaging, we highly recommend coming here.

The facility is located in the Design District of Miami, easily accessible from Miami Beach, North Miami, or any neighborhood South of downtown. Parking is available, as well as beverages while you’re waiting to go back for your exam, in another newly renovated facility. There is another facility in Aventura that is equally as nice, and we highly recommend visiting for your next exam.
